Maui, Hawaii

My first ever trip to Hawaii! Me and the hubs spent it all on Maui. Other than him getting the stomach flu and being bed-bound for 3 days, the trip was awesome ^_^  Weather was beautiful, the hotel was beautiful, food was amazing, hmm... oh yeah, so where did hubs get the stomach flu?

Well, we suspect it was the "Poke" (raw ahi tuna) we had for lunch, although I ate the same amount and did not become ill... it was very very yummy though...but guess hubs would not say the same =P 

The most exciting part of the trip was probably the 3 am drive up to Haleakala in efforts to see the famed sunrise. It was exhausting...but totally worth it!As the "landscape" of the clouds slowly changed before our eyes as more and more light shone through the darkness, it left me in awe of God's beauty and majesty. What a privilege to see...and what wonders God makes daily that is so much more than we'd ever imagined!
